The forest is beginning to recover. New growth spreads through the bare vines, flowers return and the damaged landscape is gradually reclaimed by living things.

The macaw is no longer surrounded by fire and ash. She has become Canopy Girl—a powerful matriarch sheltering a small lemur within the returning forest.

Recovery cannot replace everything that has been lost, but it shows what nature can do when destruction stops and the land is given back.

It’s not our world, it’s theirs. Let them have it back.
